Scholarships announced for Northern California and Pennsylvania Regions!

Botball sponsors have made it possible for students in the Pennsylvania and Northern California Botball Regions to develop their natural instincts for design and engineering in the 2010 Botball Educational Robotics Program. Participating teams will design, build, program, document, and demonstrate a pair of original mobile robots to solve open-ended challenges in a high-energy tournament setting.

Pennsylvania Region Scholarship Recipients

After the initial review of applications for the Pennsylvania Region, scholarships sponsored by NASA Robotics Alliance Project were awarded to the following Botball teams:

  • Bald Eagle Area High School - Wingate, PA
  • Fannett-Metal High School - Willow Hill, PA
  • The Gow School - South Wales, NY

Northern California Region Scholarship Recipients

After the initial review of applications for the Northern California Region, scholarships sponsored by NASA Robotics Alliance Project and the Yahoo Employee Foundation were awarded to the following Botball teams:

  • Del Mar High School - San Jose, CA
  • Tennyson High School - Hayward, CA
  • Oak Grove High School, Teams1-3 - San Jose, CA
  • Impact Academy of Arts and Technology - Hayward, CA
  • Lighthouse Community Charter School - Oakland, CA
  • University Preparatory School - Redding, CA
  • Sacramento Waldorf School - Fair Oaks, CA
