University of Hawaii at Manoa - Dormitory
All available dorm rooms at the University of Hawaii have now been booked. No changes are refundable at this time.
- Location: On the campus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa - approximately 2 miles from the Hawaii Convention Center
- Check in/Check out: Dorm rooms will be available for check in on July 8, 2007. Check out must be on or before July 14, 2007. You may check in starting at 2:00 pm on your scheduled arrival date and check out must be by noon on your scheduled date of departure. Please note that if you check in or out during non-front desk hours (9:00 am - 9:00 pm), you will be charged $25.
- Room Configuration: All apartment style rooms include a private bathroom and living area. Guests selecting an apartment style room will be assigned to either an apartment double (one bedroom/2 beds) or apartment quadruple (two bedrooms/4 beds). KISS Institute cannot guarantee which of these room configurations you will receive until one month prior to the National Conference. You may indicate your preference when you register and rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. PLEASE NOTE: THESE ROOMS ARE NOT AIR CONDITIONED!
- Meals: Breakfast is included each morning in the room rate at the campus dining area. More details on this will be posted in the spring.
- Room Amenities: Rooms come with linens (2 Sheets, 1 pillow, 1 pillowcase, 1wash cloth, 1 towel), two twin-size beds, study desks, chairs, lamps, closets, and phone - the dorm recommends bringing your own towel
- Guest Services: Other guest services include a coin-operated laundry, irons available at front desk, and a kitchen located on the roof top with a stove/oven

- Parking: The University Traffic and Transportation Office control parking in conference housing. In order to receive a parking pass for your stay, you must contact the conference housing office at (808) 956 -7436. The office will make a request to the Parking Office for an approval of a permit. After the permit is approved, they recommend that you send payment in-advance so that they are able to pick up your parking pass and have it ready for you upon check-in (note: for advance payments, they require only checks be sent and made out to: “University of Hawaii Parking Office”). All vehicles must display permits and be parked in marked stalls. The cost for a parking permit is $3.00 a day. It may take up to 48 hours to receive a parking pass. Bicycles and mopeds are not allowed in the buildings. Individual parking passes are also sold at the front desk for $3.00/per day per pass, the individual passes purchased at the front desk are marked for Zone 20 only (parking structure).
Ala Moana Hotel
All of the rooms in our block at the Ala Moana Hotel are booked, and the group rate is no longer available
- Location: 410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, HI 96814 - across the street from the Hawaii Convention Center
- Check in/Check out: Rooms will be available for check in on July 8, 2007. Check out must be on or before July 14, 2007.
- Parking: The Ala Moana Hotel has a covered parking garage attached to the facility. Regular parking is $15 a night and valet parking is $18 a night.
