"These are the sort of things that 10, 12, 15 years ago computer science PhDs were working on, and now you've got 12, 14, 15 year old students doing it."

Event Volunteer

Botball produces regional events across the United States and in the Middle East. Each region begins with a workshop and concludes with a tournament. We need volunteers to help facilitate the workshops and to help run the regional tournaments.

Regional Workshops

People with engineering or computer science experience are needed to assist at regional workshops. Experience with the Botball program or the C++ programming language is helpful, but not necessary. Visit our workshop schedule page to find a regional workshop near you. Then complete the online volunteer form. Someone from the Botball program will contact you with details. If you'd like more information about volunteering at a regional workshop, contact Marci Corey.

Regional Tournaments

No matter what your background or experience is, we can use your help at one of our regional tournaments. Get an up-close look at the students' creativity and
ingenuity by being on the competition field as a judge or an on-deck manager. We have volunteer positions for people of all different backgrounds and experience! Interacting with excited and motivated students is an inspiring experience.

Visit our tournament schedule page to find a regional tournament near you. Then complete the online volunteer form. Someone from the Botball program will contact you with details. If you'd like more information about volunteering at a regional tournament, contact Marci Corey.
